Debby began capturing these portraits during her time living in Barcelona, a city that naturally drew her to individuals with strong identities, distinctive fashion, subcultures, and extraordinary performers. Through collaborative exchanges, she used a medium format film camera to create striking portraits. These works were later exhibited in a pop-up shop in Barcelona and featured in several Spanish magazines.
