A personal photography project about my late parents who lived in Great Yarmouth all their lives. This project is a celebration and detailed observation of their everyday domestic experiences since my dad retired.
After leaving home to go to university in the mid 1980's, I began to realise and appreciate the smaller details of things when returning home in the holidays. Years later, I began taking an interest in photographing my parents at home, where I grew up as a child. An accumulation of a large body of work, highlighting a glimpse into their lives, love for one another and the simple things in life, something I will always cherish.
