Contemporary Portrait Photography, by Debby Besford

Documentary photography project by Debby Besford, on her family, titled, At Home. Examining the everyday lives of her parents, from domestics to the nostalgic decor in the family home, where Debby was born. There is a strong bond and trust that is evident in the portrait of her parents. Using natural light and square format, medium format film, Debby has captured a private moment of contemplation of a loving couple. The portrait shows the couple looking out of the window with their gaze looking up a the sky. The clouds are reflected on the window creating a painterly effect. Taken in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, England.
